The Dungog Mountain Bike Festival is being held Easter Saturday and Sunday being the 31/3 and 1/4/2018 and we’re looking forward to seeing you here in the beautiful Dungog Common. It’s really dry this year, so it promises to be a fast race.

Allen like always has a few surprises up his sleeve for this year’s course!

Schedule for the Weekend:

Dungog Mountain Bike Festival 31st of March and 1st April 2018
Based on the feedback of last year’s event we have now scheduled all races on the Saturday so everyone can enjoy a great party on Saturday night.

Sunday morning, being Easter Sunday and April’s Fool Day rolled into one, will see a new event for young and old:

Cattle Tag Hunt

But don’t worry you don’t need to pull them of any of the cattle, the Easter Bunny will hide the tags only and you can then exchange them for real Easter eggs at the rego tent.

Weekend Program

There will be signage in place if you enter town from the south that will guide you to the common.

Friday

Arrive any time at the Dungog Common and camp just beyond the Events Centre up on the ridge just as in previous years. No camping fees this year but donations will be appreciated.
Rego open from 3 – 5pm

Saturday

Rego open from 8am
Women and Juniors Two Hour Challenge start 9:30am, briefing at 9:20am
5 Hour Open Challenge for individuals and teams will start 12:00 noon, briefing at 11:50am
Some kids entertainment during the afternoon including practice runs for the night race.
Kids fun race around road flares at about 6pm for under 12s only
Presentation at 7pm (all place getters will receive a medal)
Music all day and party music after presentation
Kids movie will start after presentation as well

Uncle Matt is back with his famous DJ and special refreshment service.
